Source: buzzfeed.comThe bad things don’t always cancel out the good. Because bad things get so much press, they’re what we hear about, day in and day out. But good things happen by the thousands, by the millions and billions. They’re the reason that we keep going. Even though bad things happen, the good things make life worth living.

THE FUCK KIND OF BLACK MAGIC DID I JUST WITNESS?!

I DESPISE UNIVERSITY LIFE.
I’m drained of all my energy and the slightest things tick me off. I’m always behind on my work and have no time to really unwind. I’m either always in class, at work, or in my extremely long lab. I have realized that college has not only taken the best years of my life, but also my money! I cringe at the sight of my student loans and whenever I go to class I feel downright incompetent. It’s only understandable that I want to choke the living daylights out of people who tell me “college is the best years of your life” because it’s not. I know it’s a personal decision and I’m sorry that alcohol and sex aren’t the only things that make my world go round. I know it’s a personal choice not to get high all the time and I know it’s my problem that I think ‘YOLO’ is not the sole motto I should abide by. I’m sorry for being responsible and lame and that I’m tired of trying to do the right thing instead of playing hookie. I’m sorry I have to take my free time and work to pay off my loans instead of quietly studying as I should be and suffer the consequence of low self esteem when I have no idea what’s going on in lectures. I’m sorry I’m up on Friday nights watching people stumbling into my work place and that I have to clean up the mess they leave behind. And finally I’m sorry that my rant is so pessimistic. There’s so much to life that being a debbie downer is downright pathetic, but let’s face it, life gets so exhausting that you question your sanity and it’s hard to find the silver lining. So to all of you who are having the time of your lives in college, here’s to you. May you live the rest of your days in college happy, but be aware that college does end and real life begins. Sometimes, it hits us sooner than we expect…
